SMERFS^3 is written in Visual C++ for the interface while the models are in FORTRAN.

Oliver Smith of EG&G is the programmer did the code design and the coding. The SMERFS^3 software was his baby. He did both and will be working with me on some planned updates.

SMERFS was never ported to C. SMERFS^3 has the GUI interface in C++. I would love to see it in C.

However there are no plans to maintain SMERFS. SMERFS^3 will replace it.
